About

Luci Hindmarsh, Mums Make Lists I’m Luci McQuitty Hindmarsh. Yip, I know my surname is a bit of a mouthful, I really should have been a bit less of a modern woman and just taken my husband’s surname eh! We did briefly consider becoming the McMarshes, but only very briefly. I am co-editor of parenting blog www.mumsmakelists.com, the number one parenting blog offering simple tips for busy mums, tried and tested by busy mums. London based, loved in the UK and USA. Mums Make Lists Logo The Real McQ is my personal blog, for my own musings outside of Mums Make Lists, I don’t get time to spend too much time posting on it at the moment as Mums Make Lists is growing at a rate of knots. But over time the posts will mount up… Keep in touch with Mums Make Lists and me on Twitter @LuciMcQ and @MumsMakeLists , Pinterest and Facebook.

    Hi,
I just read your AEIOU review and it nearly brought me to tears! A child’s birthday should be utterly magical, especially when a princess attends.
I actually run a princess company myself and wondered if you would like to receive a free video message from Queen Elsa? You can see pictures first, and obviously you could view the video before showing your little one -for your sake, I’m sure you would be happy with it, we have had many happy customers 🙂
I would offer a free visit but I’m not sure where you are based. Please get in touch if you may be interested, I would love to reinstate the magic for your little one.

Oh good, I am pleased! If you ever change your mind, you know where to find me 🙂
Ps. Sorry I posted this twice, I thought it had been deleted the first time…
So happy the magic is back for your little girl xx

    Hi Lucy,

I saw the terrible review of AEIOU parties and was distressed to hear your daughter had such a disappointing birthday. I know you must have been devasted when your daughter asked you why Elsa didn’t come to her birthday… I would like to help repair the damage if I can.

I have been running my own children’s entertainment company ABC RUBY RED SAID! since 2006 and am currently doing Elsa parties every weekend as it is so popular. At my parties I sing the songs, play Frozen games, face-paint, bring prizes etc and also do short appearances for special little girls.

Would you like me to come visit as Queen Elsa free of charge?
(- I will supply a picture of myself dressed as Elsa so you will know how I will look when I arrive. )

I can come to her school or home as a surprise visit. Please give me a call on 07743439300 and we can arrange something asap.

    Yours truly,

    Samantha Griggs

Hi Lucy – I just read your shocking post about the Elsa entertainer at your daughter’s birthday party. I am a reporter with the national papers and would love to talk to you about it. Could you please email me at jess@mercurypress.co.uk. Thanks.
